Marty has been in the insurance industry since 1976 where she began as a part time file clerk. Marty has held the positions of File Clerk, Office Manager, and Customer Service. In 1982, Marty joined CRB as a Personal Lines Customer Service Agent, and then in 1994 she became the Systems Administrator of CRB Insurance.

Marty is also active in the community. She is Past President and Membership Secretary of the Franksville Business Association, currently holding the office of Vice President. She is also active in her Church, having held various offices. She is currently Finance Secretary/Treasurer and Systems Administrator. She is on the Caledonia Park Commission and the Caledonia/Mt. Pleasant Joint Park Commission.

In her free time, she chaperones school field trips and dances whenever possible, is also active in a local 4-H Club editing the monthly newsletter, keeping the club database in order, is a 4-H Leader, and helps at the Racine County Fair.
